There are three scenarios in which actions can be in the "In progress" state for a long time:

  1. The action is waiting for a user input. For example, a "Send application form" is waiting for an employee to complete the form.

  2. The action takes a long time to complete. For example, Transfer G Suite Docs and Drive data may take a long time to complete, depending on the amount of data.

  3. The action has failed due to a temporary error. For example, the SaaS provider returned a "temporarily unavailable" status code. In this case, Torii will try to perform several retries to overcome the temporary error.
